Journalling daily about the things you are grateful for has become the new “it” way to practice mindfulness – and for good reason – research supports the many health benefits from simply focusing on gratitude. But, you don’t need to read a long book on it or read tons of studies to see why – the fact is, the more we focus on the good in our lives, the more we begin to see the good instead of the bad.
And, after a year like 2020, I think we could all benefit from that simple mindset shift, am I right?
Why Start a Gratitude Journal?
Whether you’re here looking for your very first gratitude journal or you’ve filled the pages of several before, we are all here for the same reason: to experience the positive benefits of starting a daily gratitude practice.
And, the way you journal about what you’re grateful for can be whatever works best for you. The best gratitude journal is the one that you use.
Maybe you work best with just a simple lined notebook dedicated to gratitude. Or, perhaps you feel more motivated to write in one with guided prompts and inspiring quotes.
What To Look For in a Gratitude Journal:
For us, we tried several different popular gratitude journals before we learned that what worked best for us was a combination of: gratitude quotes, space for daily gratitude, regular thought-provoking journal prompts, beautiful designs and reminders for why we started in the first place.
That’s why after falling totally in love with gratitude journalling, we started designing our own. And, the very first gratitude journal for Good Vibes Publishing Co. was born.
Our journals have a slim 6×9 design, small enough to tuck into most purses, a matte cover for easy cleaning, and space for gratitude every day for a whole year.
Now, we offer several different designs with slight changes to the interior – but all with the same important structure that worked the best for us.
Turns out, it’s not just us – since we started releasing them in our Etsy shop, we’ve received dozens of reviews that others are loving them just as much.
So, today, we’d like to share a round-up of our favorite gratitude journals. And, if you’re new to a gratitude practice, pop over to our post on how to start a daily gratitude practice with just 5 minutes per day to get started.
1. Garden of Gratitude:
This was our first gratitude journal design and still remains the most popular. The beautiful floral garden design is carried throughout the interior, along with inspiring quotes on gratitude and lots of thoughtful extras.
The interior offers a whole year’s worth of space for daily gratitude – so you won’t need another journal for 52 weeks!

2. Garden of Gratitude:
We love the purple mountain design of this one, which has the same interior as the Garden of Gratitude journal above.
Both of them are over 100 pages and include encouraging extras like affirmations and journal prompts to really get you thinking and expressing yourself.

3. Year of Gratitude:
Florals aren’t for everyone, we get it. We also love graphic designs, such as this buffalo plaid gratitude journal. The Year of Gratitude journal is more geometric, with a unisex design, but still full of powerful quotes, journal prompts and daily space for gratitude.

4. Vintage Gratitude:
The newest addition in our gratitude journal line-up is this vintage design. A fully redesigned interior has vintage touches, from new fonts to sweet art that will really motivate the vintage lover.
Still, you’ll enjoy the same benefits as our other journals, with 52-weeks of daily gratitude space, motivating quotes, and lots of extras.

5. My Year of Gratitude:
We try not to pick favorites, but this leopard print journal really has our heart. We love the fun leopard print cover and the more modern, geometric interior.
Many of our customers love to buy this with the pink good vibes only pen – a pairing close to our hearts, too.

6. Marble Gratitude Journal:
We knew we wanted to expand our more modern collection of journal covers and this marble and black gratitude journal was something we knew we would love ourselves, so we shared it in the shop. The response has been fantastic! This design was one of our top sellers for the 2020 Christmas season!
In fact, people loved the marble design so much, we also carried the marble theme into a food and fitness journal and even our very first daily planner notepad.

7. Garden of Gratitude:
After the popularity of the first Garden of Gratitude journal, we set out to create another floral design that was a bit more neutral in color, for our all-white lovers. This white floral gratitude journal was born and has since received rave reviews!
